Welcome to the Bar Association of Carroll County website.  The Association was originally formed by seven local attorneys on February 24, 1898 for the "purpose of maintaining the honor and integrity of the profession of law, of cultivating social intercourse among its members, of maintaining its usefulness in promoting the administration of Justice, of procuring and maintaining a library for use of its members and of educating its members to a high standard of professional knowledge."   The Association's purpose has remained constant over the intervening years and its  membership has increased to almost 250 attorneys and judges.
